Halloween is over but there is something even scarier looming -- you guessed it -- Election Day! We at rattlebox.com take our civic duties very seriously and we seriously encourage you to do so as well. That means reading your local measures, state propositions and getting informed about the candidates. An important thing you can do is ensure that all your friends and colleagues remember to vote. To make this a little easier for you, we have come up a new and exciting series of cards for voters of every persuasion. Use them well, friends.

Helpful Halloween Advice
You know that moment in the movie -- the phone rings again, the floorboards creak in the attic, there is a loud knock on the door -- and it is as if the babysitter/teenager/curious secretary has never seen a horror film before because, even though we are all screaming at them "Don't Answer the Phone!" "Don't Go Into the Attic!" "Don't Open the Door!" -- they do. Every time! To honor that wonderfully frustrating moment when seemingly intelligent people do really stupid things around Halloween, we have made a series of rattlebox cards for you to remind your friends. You know, just in case they find themselves in the middle of a Halloween nightmare this year. Here is the very first one. Hope you -- ah, like it.

Cinco de Mayo
We hope one way you'll be celebrating is by sending some Cinco de Mayo e-cards this week! We also hope you'll be in as good of company as these guys were! So stock up on some Dos Equis, break out your best bottle of tequila, and let's pour one out in honor of the Mexican army's amazing victory at the Battle of Puebla!
Oh, and one last thing: enjoy some War!
Behind the Scenes at Rattlebox.com
A little sneak peak into the creation of our talking e-cards. Morgan graciously donated her eyes and lips to a cow in need. Plucking the eyes and mouths off our team at rattlebox and placing them on inanimate objects is always a good time! Stay tuned for new talking ecards on the site very soon! Enjoy!

Oh, Mother
Rattlebox Mother's Day e-Cards
Mother's Day is approaching. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there's no escape! Whether Mom lives down the street (you poor thing) or is sunbathing on a sailboat off the coast of Tuscany, it's time to muster up some appreciation and send some love her way. If you find yourself rummaging through the greeting card aisle of your local supermarket disappointed with the boring, traditional, sappy, seen-it-all-before selection of paper greeting cards, you've come to the right place. Especially because our e-cards do not require licking any of those icky envelope-sealing glue strips! Actually, rattlebox is always the right place when it comes to searching for pleasant little visual bits of sarcasm, edge, creativity, and great Ecard humor.
And even though her dissuasion didn't keep you from hanging out (and having the time of your life) with the evil and dangerous bad boy types like these guys, Mother's Day is the time to thank Mom for trying to discourage you from all the things you were going to do anyway! Enjoy some delicious Danzig while you're choosing your mom's Mother's Day rattlebox e card!
